Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Electric J LLC ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in the Android game Momo's Star Nook, package com.mechor.momostarnook, and its companion legal/reward site.

1. Information stored on your device

The game stores progress and preferences locally, including level progress, mastery, Energy, Stardust, furnishings and their positions, upgrades, sound and accessibility settings, daily-reward status, advertising frequency state, pending reward intents, and processed purchase/reward transaction identifiers.

Primary and backup progress files are authenticated with HMAC-SHA256 using an app/device-derived local key. This is an integrity check, not encryption. The device identifier and derived key used for this check are not sent to Electric J LLC. A failed integrity check locks reward and purchase grants rather than silently replacing the affected files.

The release configuration disables Android backup and device-to-device transfer for app data. Uninstalling or clearing app storage therefore normally removes local progress, preferences, the anonymous reward session, and pending rewards. The game has no Electric J LLC account or cloud-save system.

2. Rewarded-ad server verification

When you choose a rewarded ad, the game contacts an Electric J LLC reward-verification service hosted on Cloudflare. The service creates an anonymous random player ID, a secret session token, and a short-lived one-time reward intent. These values are not based on your name, email, advertising ID, or local game-save contents.

After an eligible ad completes, Google AdMob sends the service a signed callback that can include the anonymous reward user ID and intent, AdMob transaction ID, ad network and unit identifiers, reward marker and amount, and timestamp. The service verifies Google's cryptographic signature, applies daily limits, prevents duplicate grants, and stores the resulting reward status in a Cloudflare D1 database. The game then retrieves and consumes the one-time verified grant; if delivery is delayed or the app closes, it can recover the oldest unconsumed grant belonging to the same authenticated anonymous session on a later launch.

Cloudflare may process standard network and security information needed to deliver these requests, such as IP address, request metadata, and diagnostics. Learn more in Cloudflare's Privacy Policy. Reward records are retained as reasonably necessary to prevent duplicate grants, investigate abuse, keep the service reliable, and meet legal obligations.

3. Advertising and consent

The game uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to provide optional rewarded ads and limited interstitial ads. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as IP address, advertising identifier, device and app information, approximate location inferred from network information, ad interactions, and diagnostics. They use it to deliver, measure, secure, and—where your consent and regional law permit—personalize advertising.

Google's User Messaging Platform checks consent requirements on each launch before ads are requested. You can reopen applicable choices with AD CHOICES in the game's Options menu and can also control Android advertising and personalization settings through your device or Google account.

4. Purchases

Optional Energy packs, Stardust packs, and the Everbloom Charm are processed by Google Play Billing. Google processes payment details and transaction information under its policies. We do not receive or store complete payment-card details. The game receives product, purchase-status, receipt, and transaction information needed to deliver or restore eligible items and prevent duplicate grants.

We do not sell directly identifying information. Information may be processed by Google, Cloudflare, and their service providers as described above, or disclosed when required by law, to protect users and services, or in connection with a business transfer.

6. Retention, security, and deletion

Local progress remains until you clear app storage or uninstall the game. Third-party advertising and billing records are retained according to the relevant provider's policies and legal obligations. Reward-verification records are pseudonymous and retained for duplicate prevention, security, reliability, and legal needs.

The Android release blocks cleartext network traffic; game-service communications use HTTPS. Local save authentication, short-lived reward intents, hashed server session tokens, signed AdMob callbacks, durable transaction uniqueness, and server daily caps reduce tampering and replay risk. No system or compromised device can be guaranteed completely secure.

Because there is no Electric J LLC account and the reward identifiers are random rather than tied to a name or email, we generally cannot identify a player's records from personal contact information alone. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes the local game data and access token. Requests about data held by Google or Cloudflare should also use those providers' privacy controls.

7. Age audience

Momo's Star Nook is designed for players aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you are below the age at which you can consent to data processing in your country, use the game only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian.

8. International processing and your choices

Google and Cloudflare may process information in countries other than your own. Depending on location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. Use in-game AD CHOICES, Android/Google privacy controls, and the contact route below for applicable requests.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the game, service providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date identifies the current version. Material changes will be reflected here and, where appropriate, in the game or store listing.

This policy covers the current release configuration: local authenticated saves, Google AdMob and its consent platform, Google Play Billing, Cloudflare Pages/Functions, and the D1 reward-verification ledger. It will be updated before adding accounts, cloud saves, analytics, or another advertising provider.
