Rewards & Advertising
Every reward is fixed and disclosed before you act. Momo's Star Nook has no loot boxes, paid random rewards, cash prizes, transferable items, or ad-only furniture.
Optional rewarded ads
Rewarded ads never begin without a player choosing the labeled button. Closing or skipping an ad grants nothing and does not block normal play.
| When offered | Exact benefit | Limit |
|---|---|---|
| Energy area in the Shop | +2 Energy | 3 verified grants per UTC day; hidden when Energy is fully banked |
| After completing a Wish Trail | +750 Stardust | Once for that result and 3 verified grants per UTC day |
| After a trail ends without completion | Moonlight Retry: returns 1 Energy | Once per UTC day |
How reward verification works
- The game asks the reward service for a short-lived, one-time intent.
- The intent and an anonymous reward user ID are attached to the AdMob request. They contain no name, email, advertising ID, or game-save contents.
- After completion, Google calls the server directly. The server verifies Google's ECDSA signature, expected ad unit/reward marker, one-time intent, daily limit, and unique transaction ID.
- The game waits for that verified claim before changing Energy or Stardust. Repeated callbacks or claims cannot grant the same reward twice.
A network delay can leave a reward marked as verifying. The game keeps a fresh pending intent and checks again rather than falling back to an unverified local grant. If Google's signed callback arrives later or the app closes before acknowledgement, a later launch recovers the oldest verified, unconsumed grant for the same anonymous session and applies its one-time transaction journal.
Between-level advertising
Interstitial ads have no attached reward. They are limited to natural first-clear transitions at level 10 or later, after at least five first clears since the previous shown interstitial, and only when the player chooses to start the next trail and an ad is already available.
The expanded Nook

Other fixed rewards
Correct taps, first clears, mastery stars, objectives, five- and ten-level milestones, replay clears, and the seven-day Star Gift schedule award fixed Energy or Stardust according to visible game rules. Garden and Star Garden upgrades are always purchased with earned Stardust and are never randomized.
